Product Description

Magnesium chloride is a chloride with the chemical formula MgCl2. Anhydrous magnesium chloride is a white shiny hexagonal crystal with a melting point of 714°C and a boiling point of 1412°C. It has a very strong deliquescent property, which is higher than that of 6-water magnesium chloride and 2-water magnesium chloride. The physical and chemical properties are basically the same as hexahydrate magnesium chloride. Mainly used in the production of magnesium metal and chemical, light industry, coal, construction and other sectors.

Application

1. Metallurgical industry
It is used as binder for refractory and furnace arm. It is also used as raw material for No.2 flux and magnesium smelting.

2. Chemical industry
It is mainly used to make various magnesium salts, such as magnesium oxide, magnesium hydroxide, magnesium carbonate, firecracker fixative and antifreeze.

3. Building materials
It is made of magnesia cement and magnesia, which is hard and corrosion-resistant. It can be made into marble, magnesia tile, floor, ceiling, decorative board, fireproof board, greenhouse bracket, partition board, magnesia well cover, bathtub, door and window frame, movable house, etc.

4. Machinery Industry
In daily life, it can be made into mechanical packing box, triangular cushion edge and furniture, which is a good material of "replacing material with soil".

5. Food industry
The bean curd made from brine (magnesium chloride solution) is more tender and delicious than that made from stone. It can also be used as an additive in some foods.

Process

1. Using 99% magnesium chloride as raw material to produce magnesite products, because of high purity and less impurities, it is easy to control the phenomenon of frosting, halogen returning and deformation. The prepared brine is clear and transparent, which is formed by hydrolysis reaction in the process of preparing brine. Anhydrous magnesium chloride can raise the brine temperature by 80 ~ 100 ºC, and can be reused when the temperature is reduced to 40 ºC. It can shorten the dehydration and solidification time of magnesite products, especially when the temperature is low. Because the price is lower than that of brine, the cost of transportation, loading, unloading and storage can be reduced.

2. When mixing brine, add water first and then add it. The product should be added 4-5 times step by step, once every 30 minutes (in order to reduce the temperature of brine). At the same time with stirring, so as to avoid hot water splashing scald, dissolution time than the traditional halogen appropriate to extend 2-3 hours.

3. The bittern prepared with 99% magnesium chloride has high purity, which can be reduced by more than 2-5 degrees compared with the traditional magnesium chloride hexahydrate.

4. Theoretical dosage comparison: 1000 kg brine tablets (43%) is used = 430 kg 99% magnesium chloride is used. 1000 kg of brine tablets (47%) is used = 470 kg of 99% magnesium chloride is used.

5. Comparison of actual dosage: 1000 kg 99% magnesium chloride = 2500 kg brine tablets (43%). 1000 kg 99% magnesium chloride = 2400 kg brine tablets (47%).
