Magnesium chloride is an inorganic substance with the chemical formula MgCl2. It is a colorless plate-like crystal, slightly soluble in acetone, and soluble in water, ethanol, methanol, and pyridine. When deliquescent in humid air and smoke, it sublimates when white hot in a stream of hydrogen gas.

1.Transportation industry:
 Used as road snow melting agent, deicing fast, has little corrosivity to the vehicle, is better than sodium chloride magnesium metal.
