Magnesium chloride is a chloride with the chemical formula MgCl2. Anhydrous magnesium chloride is a white shiny hexagonal crystal with a melting point of 714°C and a boiling point of 1412°C. It has a very strong deliquescent property, which is higher than that of 6-water magnesium chloride and 2-water magnesium chloride. The physical and chemical properties are basically the same as hexahydrate magnesium chloride. Mainly used in the production of magnesium metal and chemical, light industry, coal, construction and other sectors.
